Jesus: The Greatest Gift at the Dawson County Christmas Parade
We were blessed to participate in the 12th Annual Dawson County Christmas Parade, Jingle Market, and Tree Lighting! Our float in the parade highlighted the powerful theme, Jesus is the Greatest Gift of All, reminding everyone of the true reason for the season. At the Jingle Market, we connected with our community, shared the exciting things happening at our church, and had the opportunity to sell books and shirts that spread the message of faith. Most importantly, we cherished the chance to witness to others and share the love and hope of Jesus with those we met. It was a joyful and meaningful way to celebrate Christmas together!
Bringing the Love of Christ to the Moonshine Festival
Our CFC Outreach Team was blessed to share the love of Jesus at the Dawsonville Moonshine Festival! We connected with the community, spreading the message of a different kind of “fire water” in Dawson County. Through our booth, we shared about CFC’s ministries and enjoyed heartfelt conversations with festival-goers. It was a memorable day filled with joy, connection, and the warmth of God’s love. Delivering Hurricane Relief Supplies to Local Churches
This past week, the CFC Outreach Team brought much-needed supplies, generously donated by church members, to three churches impacted by Hurricane Helene. Our team visited churches in Candler, Asheville, and Swannanoa, NC, providing relief to those facing immense devastation. Please continue to pray for these communities as they begin the long process of rebuilding. Your support is making a difference!
Sharing Hope and Gratitude with Our Local Sheriff's Office
Our CFC Outreach Team had the honor of visiting the local sheriff’s office to deliver a gift bag with a Chick-fil-A biscuit and offer a prayer for the officers. It was an incredible opportunity to connect with these dedicated public servants, express our heartfelt appreciation for their hard work, and share the love and peace of Christ. We were able to talk about how God is working through our church and extend words of encouragement. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this outreach a reality—together, we are spreading hope and being a light in our community!
Bringing Blessings and Biscuits to Our Firefighters
Our CFC Outreach Team had the amazing privilege of visiting the local fire department to deliver fresh biscuits and share the love of Jesus. It was such a meaningful time connecting with our community heroes, expressing our gratitude for their service, and spreading the message of hope and encouragement. We were able to share about our church and how God is moving through our ministries. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this outreach possible—together, we are making a difference and shining the light of Christ!
Connecting with Our Community at the Dawsonville Family Fair
Our CFC Outreach Team recently had the wonderful opportunity to engage with the community at the Dawsonville Family Fair. We set up a booth where we shared about our church and the various ministries we offer, while also enjoying some fun games with fairgoers. It was a fantastic day of connection, laughter, and spreading the love of Christ. We were able to meet so many incredible people and introduce them to what God is doing through our church. A huge thank you to everyone who made this event a success!
Spreading Kindness: CFC Outreach at Dawson County High School
Our Outreach Team recently had the privilege of serving the teachers and staff at Dawson County High School. We spent the morning handing out Chick-fil-A biscuits as a small token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication to the students. It was a joy to connect with the educators and support staff who pour so much into our community. We're grateful for the opportunity to show them the love of Christ through a simple act of kindness.
